My first motion at today’s (20th Dec) MD meeting, ‘That the council outline its plans to fix the ongoing flooding issue in Belmont Green, Newbridge.

Here is the report issued by – Ms V Cooke, A/Senior Executive Officer Planning and Strategic Development  : The Planning Section will investigate this issue and will report back to the members on same as soon as possible.

The flooding issue in Belmont Green relates to a malfunctioning surface water attenuation system in the adjacent Walshestown Park development, which is not in the charge of Kildare County Council.
