My second question at yesterday’s (11th Dec) MD meeting; ‘Can the council provide a detailed list of all projects to which funding was allocated to in the entire current district from LPT and payparking income for the last 5 years in a user friendly format highlighting the amount allocated, where funding was or was not drawn down, any difficulties getting invoices/receipts, and the geographical spread of LPT/Payparking across the district and include a column detailing the
amount of other council grants or funds awarded to the same projects?
Report issued by Ms K Keane, Administrative Officer, Members Services: “A list in the format requested is not readily available and would require significant resource time, however information related to LPT and payparking allocations for 2018 and 2019 is published on the council website. Each year and following members approval, all unspent LPT monies are carried over to the following year. The geographical spread of LPT/Payparking spend is as per what the members have approved each year. Note: All payparking monies are allocated to roads projects only.
A detailed report in relation to the 2019 LPT allocation and grants awarded/unspent monies has been prepared in relation to item 3 on this month’s agenda. The adoption of the LPT Guidelines in September requires the Municipal District Manager to provide a cumulative quarterly report, for noting, on the status of LPT for the municipal district, which should assist the members going forward.
