My first motion at this months (20th Nov) MD meeting; “That the council write to the Chief Superintendent on behalf of the municipal district members asking for consideration of a dedicated Community Policing Unit and a dedicated Drugs Unit for Newbridge given the current restructuring of An Garda Síochána divisions and the opportunity this offers.
