My first motion at Wednesday 18th of November MD meeting, “That the council clarify any changes in the previous schedule for each element of the cultural quarter that was to be developed in conjunction with the National Transport Authority traffic management and public realm plan for Newbridge.

Here is the report issued by: Ms M Hunt, Senior Executive Officer, Planning, Strategic Projects & Public Realm: The Strategic Projects and Public Realm Team along with the Traffic Management Section are collaborating with respect to the Newbridge Cultural Quarter, the Newbridge Town Renewal Plan and the NTA’s proposals for Newbridge. Discussions are on-going between Kildare County Council and the NTA in relation to Newbridge and when this process is concluded we will be in a position to update the Elected Members.
