DESCRIPTION:My first question was ‘ That the members consider a formal\, transparent and democratic method of appointing a Mayor including the taking of turns according to votes garnered at election. This would -give a say to constituents/voters in who their Mayors will be over the course of the term of a Council -give every single public representative a fair chance of being Mayor whether they are an Independent Cllr vs. a Cllr who is part of a group holding power in the District. – unsully the process of negotiations around Mayoral positions and the disproportionate holding of Mayoral positions by larger groupings/party’s holding or sharing power in the Municipal District. \n  \nReport: This is a matter for the members
